The Bodum Assam Tea Press was originally designed for the British Tea Council as an innovation in traditional tea-brewing. It has quickly become the standard for the Bodum tea-brewing system, with its built-in tea press and strainer. The built-in strainer allows tea leaves to expand while brewing, producing their optimal flavor. The press allows you to keep the leaves in the pot without over-brewing your tea -simply press down on the plunger when you want brewing to stop. The pot and handle are made of heat-resistant borosilicate glass with a stainless steel lid and BPA-free polycarbonate strainer and plunger. Set comes with one Bodum Assam Tea Press and 2 Pavina Double-Wall Glasses. All parts are dishwasher safe, 1-1/2 LFrench Presses
