Brew your coffee in the 8-Cup Kenya French press while you are frothing your milk with the BODUM Turbo Milk Whip. Add the coffee to the frothed milk and voila, you are a home barista. The set also includes two cups and stir spoons. The BODUM Kenya Press is one of the best ways to brew coffee because you are allowing to coffee to extract in very hot water for the correct amount of time, thus releasing all of the hidden flavor and oils in the bean.For the coffee aficionado in your life, give this elegant French press gift set. The press method is considered by many to be the best way to make a perfect cup of coffee, since no paper filter absorbs and removes the essence of the flavor. Bodum?s 32-ounce Kenya press features a borosilicate glass carafe, heat-resistant polypropylene cradle and lid, and a stainless-steel filter. A battery-powered turbo frother is included to whip milk for cappuccinos and lattes. Two graceful glass cups with curved polypropylene handles, two 8-3/4-inch-long stirring spoons, and a plastic coffee measuring spoon complete the set.
To make coffee with a French press, remove the plunger/top ensemble, add coarse ground coffee to the glass carafe, add hot (but not boiling) water, stir with a non-metal spoon, and position the top and plunger in place. Allow the coffee to brew for about four minutes before slowing pushing down on the plunger. Pushing too hard or too quickly may cause hot liquid to squirt out. The flat lid features two spout covers: one slotted for pouring, and one solid for heat and aroma retention. When holding the handle, hands are thoughtfully protected from the hot glass by a vertical bar of the heat-resistant cradle.
