I love this Bodum Espresso Glass. It's the perfect size for a Dopio Espresso and it doesn't need to be pre-heated. Two 1 oz shots with a nice crema fit perfectly and there is room to stir. As the glass fills, it looks like a mini-Guinness, as the crema rises to the top, a beautiful thing to behold :-) The glass rinses nicely, so don't place it in the dishwasher, don't be rough with it, and it should last a long time. I've been using 1 glass for ~1yr and have a spare.
Description of Bodum Assam Double Wall Shot/Espresso Glass
The Bodum Double Wall Assam Shot/Espresso Glasses are 3 ounces in size and can be used for cold or warm beverages. Its unique design is appealing to the eye when filled with your favorite beverage. With its double layer of borosilicate glass it appears as though the liquid is 'floating' within the glass. This size also works nicely for sake and green tea. The double wall creates a thermal effect, helping to keep your cold drinks cold and your hot drinks hot for longer periods of time. These mouth blown glasses are an exciting product for any home, restaurant, and cafe and are a definite conversation piece. The double wall also makes for a nice votive candle holder, eliminating wax spills and the need for a coaster.What's not to love? The design is not only functional but adds a striking visual aspect to the containers also: beverages seem to float within the glass due to the double-walled design. Taller than they are wide and featuring a wider top than bottom, the visual appeal is further enhanced because the inner layer has a more tapered profile than the exterior.
