Bodum believes that just because tea has been around for a while doesn't mean their tea makers can't work and look in a new and fresh way. A few years ago Bodum developed a new tea brewing process in collaboration with the English Tea Council, and it's that very process that is at work here in the Bean tea press. The tea leaves swirl freely in a spacious stainless steel filter and develop the aroma to the fullest. When the desired strength is reached, simply presses down the plunger to lock the tea leaves in at the bottom of the filter so the brewing process is stopped.The Bean tea press is encased in colorful plastic, protecting the glass beautifully. It also makes this press completely spill-proof and safe from accidents. Bean is easy to manage with one hand because it only takes a simply push of the lever to let the tea flow into the cup.
