The Bodum Chef 1 Qt. Sauce pan is the perfect size for preparing a hollandaise, béchamel, béarnaise, or caramel sauce. The tempered glass lid allows you to see the cooking process in action and has vent holes in the rim for vented cooking. The pan comfortable to hold and easy to use with convenient interior level volume indicators. The clean lines make this cookware visually appealing while the anodized aluminum provides a professional quality cooking surface. The anodizing process strengthens the aluminum, making it a durable, scratch resistant material without losing conductivity. Accepted as one of the better materials for cooking, anodized aluminum heats up quickly and evenly, even up the sides of the pot. When used properly, the anodized cookware has natural non-stick surface. Bodum Chef Anodized cookware works on all stovetop surfaces.Crafted with Swiss precision and a clean, contemporary profile, this little 1-quart saucepan looks as well as it cooks.
