If you read the reviews, you'll notice that most people (or maybe no one) paid $70 for this magnet. I wouldn't even consider it at that price. But for less than $10, it's a great deal, and solves a big problem. That is having sharp knives in a drawer ready to cut you, or getting dull rubbing each other.
The magnet is strong enough to support large knives. It looks good. And mounts relatively easily with the 2 included screws.
Free shipping from Amazon clinches the deal. If you don't have one, the next time the discount comes along, grab one. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

It's hard to imagine the regular price of this item getting any buyers. I bought it on one of the lightening deals after reading one of the reviewer's plans to use it to hold office supplies which I thought was a great idea. It is nice quality thin perforated stainless steel bar which unlike some Chinese stainless hopefully will not rust. It has to be nailed or screwed to a wall though. I was planning to use it on my lateral metal file cabinet which of course I cannot unless I use double faced foam tape which may not be strong enough to hold the weight of scissors or a stapler. It may end up on the garage wall for small metal tools or a gift in the Goodwill box.Customer Review: Great quality, easy and secure mounting, beautiful high tech product

Just received this and it's a godsend. Mounted it inside a kitchen cabinet door and it effortlessly holds all our Henkel knives that were previously cluttering up our counter top in their bulky knife blocks. Magnet is extretmely strong and holds our biggest knives, sharpening awl, and kitchen shears with ease. Our knives are handy, clean, and neat and the beautifully finished magnetic bar adds a custom built-in look to even the inside of our cabinets.Customer Review: Fairly lightweight

I too, ordered this without a need. I reload my own ammunition and do general firearm maintainance. Maybe I can use it to organize that stuff. It might come in handy for tools in the garage. Who knows????? I will post a review when it arrives and also what I am using it for. Gold Haaa
