Wow, I've been missing out. My coffee doesn't taste bitter anymore. Wish my old coffee maker broke a long time ago. Just be really careful of the glass canister. Its delicate.Customer Review: Good Press, but would have liked it to be insulated

I bought this thinking that it would make a great gift for Father's Day. A friend owns a different brand and I thought for the price, this one would be OK...wrong. I didn't like the idea that there was no way of measurement indicator on the glass (would help) for water and the plastic holder is not as strong. You really have to be careful when washing (I recommend handwash). Although it seems quick and easy to use - I find using my old coffee maker took about the same time. Have used this at least 4 times - not really crazy about it. Reason I gave it 2 stars is that the taste of the coffee was a little bit stronger and flavorful - but not worth the time or the clean-up.
